Population and dissenters: One Hundred and eight Families – Two Dissenting Families – one Presbyterian Family, The other a Popish Family.
We have no licenced or other meeting House of Dissenters In our Parish.
Public or charity schools: Here is a Publick School, Twenty of its Schoolers who are Poor, are taught to read at the expence of the Parish – about fifty Children are taught in it – once every week They are taught the Catechism of the Church of England and have strict orders given them to come to Church.
Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: Here is an Alms-house, no Hospital, we have two fields & Twenty two pounds in money the interest of which Togather with the rent of the Fields is given yearly for ye use of the Poor – we have two Tenements left for the repair of the Church – The Churchwardens are the Directors of the Benefactions – I know of no abuses or frauds committed In the management of them.
Frequency of communion: Four Times in the year, att Easter, Whitesunday, Michaelmas, and Christmas.
Number of communicants: Betwixt sixty and seventy – about sixty – att Easter Last past above sixty.
Catechising of children: The Children are Catechised often every Summer – The Parishioners teach their Children and Servants. Their Catechism, which as soon as they are perfected in, notice being given me of it, repeat it publickly in ye Church.
